An excellent book that took me straight back to my child hood. Now long retired and living in Brazil, this book reminded me of the delicious meals my grand-mother made for me in war time Britain. I now do most of our cooking and many of the described recipes are also useful latter day solutions to having a younger member of the family that has become a strict vegetarian requiring necessary compromises on alternative non-meat dishes. However, two things that I miss terribly in Latin America are goose-berries and rhubarb. Is it possible to import these frozen or in some other form.Emeritus Professor,Peter Lees [email protected]
