I bought one over a year ago and use it mainly for salmon fishing, I had over 100 salmon in this bag before I lost it. Easily fits 6 pink Salmons. My biggest fish was a 20 LB king salmon that was 36 inches long and it was nose to tail in the bag (still fit). I prefer to bleed the fish, then put them straight on ice which preserves the meat quality so this is a no brainer for me. I use 2 ice cube trays from my freezer and the ice lasts till I put fish in and get home from fishing. When I originally bought it, it was $78 at the time of this review it is $40 definitely worth it. I’m buying againHave used it 3 times since purchase. Even left fish overnight on ice and it did fantastic.GreatGreat kill bag. Holds catch on ice for 48hrs. Bottom drain for easy cleaning. Well worth the price.High end kill bags are $300. I didn't want to spend that much money. I actually take this bag with me when I travel, which is about every 3 months. I can fit 3 travel rods, tackle and clothes in the bag and I check it in at the airport (REMEMBER: Always bring your reels with you on the plane unless you want them stolen). I like it because its long enough to fit my St. Croix travel rods but it doesn't get flagged as oversized luggage plus it's padded so I know my stuff is protected. When I go fishing on the beach I fill it with ice and cover it with a towel. At the end of my trip I wash it out, put my stuff back in it and check it in on the plane going home. Haven't noticed any leaks coming from the seams yet and this bag has been through quite a few airports already. Works great. No complaints. Would definitely buy another one.For the money this thing is good. I’ve had no water getting between the liner like other people complain about. I put a 20 bag of ice in it one day around 11. Fished all day but got skunked so I never had to reopen the bag. Threw it in the back of my truck. The next day I went to clean everything out of my truck and there was still a lot of ice. See pic. This was summer in SoCal so that impressive. My only gripe is I wish it had a flat bottom so it can expanded more and stand upright. A few weeks ago we put in a 15 lb dorado and a few 10 lb yellowtail and it was getting tight.carried home a 20lb flathead for 2hrs with no problemThe construction of the bag is really good quality. Holds ice very well and doesn’t puncture from fish spines. I like that it has a drain plug to drain the water. My only dislike would be the zipper. It’s really tough to zip and gets caught easily. Not the most convenient zipper when you have to crawl to the front of the kayak to zip/unzip. This bag would be flawless with a better zipper. Overall I’m happy with the bag.Arrived in good time to the UK.I wasn’t disappointed- the quality is good and the zip is decent, which I was worried about. Doesn’t leak, and stays cool. Very good size and price for the quality level. Should last me many years.Ideal for keeping fish cool and fresh while fishing, sits easily against the hull in largely unused space, holds frozen water bottles in the base and fish lie in an ice slurry to firm up for filleting.Haven't used it but seems to be well built and matches description as posted..Works and looks great.
