I picked this book up in a store a couple of years ago on a whim. I really don't "cake" bake, but have always wanted to. So far I've made excellent Royal icing, marzipan, and a couple of the completed cakes that, for the most part, look like the pictures, And...it was actually fun! Planning on trying the penguin cake this fall for a family reunion. I just bought another book today, from amazon, to send to my daughter-in-law who likes to make unique cakes.
